I hope this finds you well,
I want to start off by saying thank you for the wonderful term. I also want to recognize the question on 9.5 III, that question about being proud of our progress. I grew up never really hearing people tell me how proud they were of me. That question really made an impact on me to the point of tears, You are truly an amazing professor. I will always remember that one question, and let it be a motivating factor in my future in the subject of math. I really appreciate all the kindness and support you have shown me throughout the term. Even though math has always been a struggle I enjoyed the way you taught us with patience and understanding. I wholeheartedly hope that you enjoy your summer break and get some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Sincerest gratitude,

Good morning,
I took Exam 2 on Wednesday, so I'm officially done with the class. I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for such a great term! I learned so much, and I appreciated how helpful you were throughout the term. I always considered myself as someone who doesn't like math, but I did really enjoy this class. I'm excited to take the knowledge I learned in this class wherever I go.
Thanks again!

My last passcode! I have greatly enjoyed being taught Stats by you, Mr. Holt. You have made the whole experience easy to digest, interesting, and I have already recommended you to other students. Even in this online platform, I have felt confident that I could not only navigate this course, but be successful in it, too. You have a gift to teach Mathematics and I'm glad I got to partake of that. See you in ZOKC III on Monday!
Thank you, soooo much, for your time and dedication to this class and the students within it. Your efforts and patience have been priceless.
Thank you for a wonderful term, and showing me a new way to see & do math! Here are the Pass Codes for 8.1 to 9.5
It is bitter sweet turning in this last chapter.. I enjoyed the class as much as I hated it lol. It was a struggle for some chapters and enjoyable oddly enough on others. Thank you for everything you have taught me and for keeping me encouraged throughout the course. I truly enjoyed having you as a professor. I will see you Friday for my ZOKC.
My zoom completely shut down. I apologize. Thank you for everything! It really means the world! You are one the most amazing professors I have had. Your patience, support, and ability to adjust our class from on campus to online was phenomenal!
I'm sending you this email to thank you for the class and with a final question.
I am not a huge fan of calculus, and I did struggle through some parts of it, but overall I did enjoy myself and I learned quite a bit. The feedback in the forum and about the homework questions helped me tremendously, especially with remembering that integration by parts still existed. The lectures you posted were great in preparing me for the chapters, and gave me a better view of the subject than the book alone would give me. So, thank you for the class, and I hope to have you as a future instructor!

Professor,
I really appreciate all your help! You're the best instructor I ever had. You're always willing to help the students, you're kind and you listen! Thanks for ALL THE HELP you gave me this term! I feel real confident about the things I have learned this term!
I don't think you need to improve anything in your classes! So far the way you do it has work for me perfectly.
THANK YOU!

Hi Professor Holt, This is [name omitted], your former student from your Algebra and Statistics classes.
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to let you know that I am kicking butt here at Stan State and that
I use Statistics often in the many research methods classes I have. Thank you for helping me out so much.
I am way ahead of the game in my understanding of the Statistics. I'm sure you remember me, since I used all
of your office hours constantly, and went to school with a service dog. I was wondering if you might do me
one last favor and write out a short letter of recommendation (possibly something about my student work ethic).
I am applying for scholarships for graduate school and need to gather a few letters of recommendation.
Thank you in advance,

Hi Mr Holt!
How's Oregon? I hope you love it there!!! We miss you out here. You are such an awesome Math teacher. It's funny because, I hear people complaining about certain math teachers, and I think, Mr. Holt was such a great teacher and so organized. Thank you for your methods and how you set up students for success. You really know how to respect others and that doesn't go unnoticed for a professor.
Anyways, thank you again,

Dear Mr. Holt,
Thank you for the amazing (and short) year of math! I appreciate the amount of effort to put into helping us succeed and I’m happy I had such a good professor like you. I’m sad you won’t be at Columbia anymore, but I hope Oregon has better opportunities for you. I’ll never forget you and what you’ve taught me! Thank you!
Sincerely,

Hi,
Just wanted to thank you for grading the final so quickly. Its one of those things that I cant help but wonder about until I know my grade.
Also, thanks for another good semester. Sorry I wasn't quite as devoted a student as I was for Algebra 1.
I hope things work out for you getting a Full time job, wherever that may be. Hopefully though, I'll be seeing you around Columbia... especially if I take the calculus route for transfer some day.

Hi Mr Holt,
I just wanted to say thank you for a good couple of semesters. I was scared to death of math when I walked into your class
last fall and I assumed I would have to take math 104 twice. But I don’t! You made it not so scary and sometimes even fun.
It was very hard work but I have a great sense of accomplishment and I just wanted you to know that you contributed to that.
I’m telling other people to take your class when they do their math classes. I look forward to seeing you in statistics in the
future! Have a fantastic summer and thanks for a great year!

Mr. Holt,
First I'd like to say thank you SO much for being an awesome teacher, and for helping me with any of my questions. I was curious about which question I got wrong on the final. I was very confident in each answer and I checked each one twice, without catching any mistakes, at least none that I didnt knoq how to correct. There was one question that required ((1/x^2)-(1/y^2))/((1/x)-(1/y)) to be reduced to its simplest form at first, I cleared the two top fractions by multiplying by (x^2)(y^2), and the bottom fraction by xy. This didn't give me an answer that was available, so I multiplied both the top sand bottom fractions (to clear them) by (x^2)(y^2), which did give me an answer. I am very curious about which question I missed, if it wasn't that one. If you aren't busy teaching another class, I would appreciate you emailing me back. Thanks,
