Problem of the Week: Citizen Coen

The Egyptian Theater is deciding on which film they would like to feature next month. Four options have been proposed: Raising Arizona ($A$), The Big Lebowski ($B$), No Country for Old Men ($C$), and Fargo ($F$).

Theater management decided to hold an election for the film theater goers which film they would like to see the most from their first to fourth choice. The preference table below summarizes the results: $$ \begin{array}{c|ccccc} & 8 & 9 & 11 & 7 & 7 & 5\\ \hline \mbox{1st Choice} & B & A & F & A & B & C \\ \mbox{2nd Choice} & C & F & B & B & A & F \\ \mbox{3rd Choice} & A & C & C & F & C & A \\ \mbox{4th Choice} & F & B & A & C & F & B \\ \end{array} $$ (a) How many theater goers voted in this election?
